challenge
Crafting a creative brief for RegenCol, a B2B Spin-Off from the Mentor program of the Division of Extension at the National University of Colombia. This brief must capture the essential requests and considerations of the company, client, and user. The main request is to propose a comprehensive brandbook, developed through in-depth research of the target user, market, and competition. The ultimate aim is to achieve a brand redesign, along with the creation of both primary and secondary graphics, ensuring the brand resonates deeply and stands out in its field.
overview
approach
Based on the extensive research findings, it became clear that highlighting both the scientific and human essence of the brand was essential. Scientifically, the brand needs to communicate effectively with healthcare providers (IPS), confidently affirming the evidence supporting the products' effectiveness and innovation. On the human side, it’s crucial to convey that patient well-being is a top priority, fostering trust not only with key clients (IPS) but also with the end-users (patients). These key elements were consistently woven into the development of the brandbook and its various applications, ensuring a balanced and impactful brand identity.

Logotype
The logo was crafted using the “El Messiri” typeface family, which was modified to follow geometric shapes, symbolizing technology, security, and innovation. The typeface features curved terminals, reflecting the brand's friendliness and the approachability it aims to achieve.

Brand identity
The primary color palette is designed to emphasize Regencol's role in the healthcare market, aiming to evoke innovation, well-being, and efficiency through the use of cool tones. For corporate typography, two fonts were selected based on brand values, readability, and versatility. High-key photography of close-ups and mid-shots is used to convey a scientific tone, while warm tones are recommended for imagery that highlights the human aspect of the brand.

Packaging
For the four different sizes, the primary packaging was designed to enhance the user experience and product application, making it easier to use and store when not fully utilized. The secondary packaging focused on improving brand recall while adhering to the regulatory requirements for medical packaging in Colombia.
